Death Stranding 2 Development Updates
New Feature Allows Players To Clear Bosses Without Combat

Death Stranding 2: On The Beach (DS2) introduces a revolutionary accessibility option enabling players to bypass combat-oriented boss encounters. During Koji Pro's April 14 radio broadcast, Director Hideo Kojima revealed gameplay alternatives designed to assist players struggling with action sequences.
The system activates when players reach a game over screen - selecting "continue" skips the failed battle while presenting key story moments through illustrated panels and text descriptions. This visual novel-style presentation maintains narrative continuity while removing mandatory combat challenges.
Death Stranding Around 95% Complete

Kojima confirmed DS2 has reached approximately 95% completion status. Describing development progress using a 24-hour clock analogy, he stated: "Koji Pro's DS2 is at 10PM now, with just two hours remaining."
The sequel continues directly after the original game's events. During March's South by Southwest (SXSW) presentation, Kojima Productions and Sony showcased new story details through an extended 10-minute trailer. The footage introduced intriguing new characters while fueling fan speculation - particularly regarding a Solid Snake-resembling character.

The SXSW panel also officially revealed DS2's collector's edition contents and pre-order bonuses. For comprehensive details regarding these special editions and downloadable content, explore our dedicated coverage.
