Dungeon Leveling Class Rankings Explained
Author : Eric
Update:Jun 14,2025
When determining the best class in *Dungeon Leveling*, several factors come into play—early, mid, and late-game performance, whether you're playing solo or in a team, and how each class performs in PVE compared to PVP. This guide focuses on evaluating classes based on their effectiveness in mid-to-late game PVE scenarios within a team setting, while also touching on solo viability.

Best Dungeon Leveling Class

This tier list ranks classes from S-Tier to C-Tier based on their overall utility and importance during mid to late-game progression in *Dungeon Leveling*. It’s important to note that high damage output doesn’t always equate to being the best class. For example, while the Wizard has the highest DPS, without a Tank or Healer, your raid will likely fail. This ranking is focused solely on PVE content and includes reasoning for each class's placement. Keep in mind that if you’re just starting out, it’s best to pick a class you enjoy rather than worrying about optimization. If you're a solo player, we’ll also highlight how well each class performs independently.
S-Tier Dungeon Leveling Classes
| Class | Ranking Reason | Is It Good for Solo? |
|---|
Tank | In late-game content, having a Tank is essential. They can taunt and stun large groups of enemies, taking pressure off your DPS and Healers so they can focus on their roles. Tanks provide crucial breathing room for positioning, dealing damage, and recovering health. With Life Steal builds, Tanks become nearly unkillable and are the hardest class to eliminate. | Once Life Steal is stacked, this class becomes viable for solo play by pulling enemies together and stunning them while dishing out damage. However, its damage output falls short compared to the Warrior. |
Healer | Similar to the Tank, the Healer is an absolute necessity in mid to late-game raids. While you might get away with skipping a Healer early on, once enemy AOE attacks ramp up and potion supplies dwindle, having a dedicated Healer becomes non-negotiable for keeping your team alive and healthy throughout extended encounters. | Not suitable for solo play at all. |
A-Tier Dungeon Leveling Classes
| Class | Ranking Reason | Is It Good for Solo? |
|---|
Wizard | The Wizard stands out as the top DPS class thanks to its high base spell damage and powerful area-of-effect (AOE) capabilities. Spells like Fireball and Lightning Chains dominate the battlefield, easily outperforming Warriors, Assassins, and Rangers. However, Wizards rely heavily on Tanks to survive and maximize their damage potential, especially when enhanced by subclass abilities. | Excels in early solo play due to strong AOE spells that can one-shot multiple enemies. However, as you progress toward endgame, survival becomes more challenging without a Tank, making it less ideal for solo content in mid-to-late stages. |
Warrior | The Warrior strikes a perfect balance between decent damage and survivability, thanks to built-in Life Steal mechanics. They serve as a reliable frontline fighter, capable of assisting the Tank in controlling enemy aggro while protecting the Wizard. Though not as damaging as the Wizard, Warriors offer greater versatility and support than Assassins or Rangers. | One of the strongest solo classes available, offering solid life steal, effective close-range AOE damage, and good durability. |
B-Tier Dungeon Leveling Classes
| Class | Ranking Reason | Is It Good for Solo? |
|---|
Assassin | Highly skill-dependent, the Assassin shines in the hands of experienced players who can make full use of their potent abilities. Without proper setup and timing, however, this class can underperform and fall closer to C-Tier. Their strength lies in executing precise combos and managing limited resources efficiently. | An exciting choice for solo play but requires practice and a steady supply of Mana potions. Once mana runs dry, effectiveness drops significantly unless you're willing to wait between rooms for regeneration. |
Ranger (Mid Game) | Rangers perform well in early to mid-game content, offering consistent DPS and safe positioning. However, they struggle with AOE damage as levels increase, making them less efficient in higher-tier content compared to other classes. | Effective for solo play early to mid-game if you master kiting techniques. Like the Wizard, however, effectiveness diminishes later without a Tank. |
