The wait is finally over! You can now download AVLView's highly anticipated School Bus module – an app designed specifically for parents. By visiting app.avlview.com, schools can efficiently create schedules, designate pickup and drop-off points for buses, and keep parents informed about when their children's school bus is approaching these points.

The School module in AVLView comes packed with a variety of features to streamline school bus operations:

• Pre-Scheduled Trips: Schools can create detailed schedules for their buses.
• Route Assignment: Assign specific routes (route fences) that buses must follow.
• Waypoints: Include student pick-up and drop-off points as waypoints along the route.
• Notification Alerts: School management receives alerts via SMS or email for schedule violations, such as mismatched times, route deviations, and missed stoppages.
• Student Information: Add students to the school bus module with their grade details, such as VII C.
• Trip Assignment: Assign students to scheduled trips and their respective stops.
• Multiple Trips: Students can be assigned to multiple trips, typically at least two – one for pickup and one for drop-off.
• Trip-View on Map: Provides a clear view of the route and stoppage points for student pick-up and drop-off.
• Parental Access: Parents have a sub-user account with real-time tracking of the school bus, showing their child's journey progress and estimated time of arrival at their stops.

Parents will receive alerts for various scenarios to ensure their child's safety and keep them updated:

• When a student fails to board the bus.
• When a student does not get off the bus.
• If a student boards the wrong bus.
• If a student boards the bus from the wrong stop.
• If a student gets off at the wrong stop.
• When the bus is en route for pick-up.
• When the bus is en route for drop-off.
• As the bus approaches the pick-up point.
• As the bus approaches the drop-off point.
• When a student is picked up.
• When a student has been dropped off.
