Microsoft's Xbox Developer Direct has generated considerable excitement for the future of Xbox gaming. But which Xbox game franchises resonate most strongly with players? This tier list considers series associated with Xbox, Bethesda, and Activision Blizzard (requiring more than one game entry). It's not exhaustive, but aims to represent significant and historically impactful franchises.

This list places Doom in S-tier, highlighting the recent entries as exceptional first-person shooters. Forza Horizon also achieves S-tier status, lauded as among the best racing games ever created. Halo, while acknowledging the quality of Halo 2 and Halo 3, receives an A-tier ranking due to perceived inconsistencies in later releases. Personal preference favors Fallout over Elder Scrolls.
