Still chasing the last few cards from the *Celestial Guardians* expansion in Pokémon TCG Pocket? Too bad—there’s a new set on the horizon. Say hello to Extradimensional Crisis, launching May 29, and bringing with it the bizarre Ultra Beasts and the enigmatic Type: Null.
This latest expansion dives into the otherworldly, spotlighting the Ultra Beasts—alien-like Pokémon that first invaded the Alola region in Pokémon Sun and Moon. Confirmed ex cards include Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Plus, fans of the Alola region will be happy to see more regional Pokémon added to the collection, along with Type: Null—a strong hint that its evolution, Silvally, won’t be far behind.
New Expansion, New Cosmetics
With every expansion comes fresh customization options. Starting May 29, you can snag an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover by trading in shop tickets. Then, from June 11, a limited-time floral display board will be available during the upcoming Wonder Pick event using event tickets.
A Steady Stream of Expansions
Since its launch, Pokémon TCG Pocket has maintained a consistent release schedule. While Extradimensional Crisis is classified as a minor booster expansion—featuring just one pack type—it continues the trend of frequent content drops. As the seventh expansion overall and the fourth compact set (joining Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry), it keeps the meta fresh without overwhelming players.
