Rest and Recuperation in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2
Sleep is paramount in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, offering full health restoration without relying on food or potions. This guide details where to find a place to rest your weary head.
Securing a Bed
Early in the game, securing your own bed is crucial. During the "Wedding Crashers" quest, either the blacksmith (Radovan) or the miller (Kreyzl) will provide you with sleeping quarters. Completing their respective questlines grants access to a bed. Radovan, located in the closer town of Tachov, is a convenient option. Finish his smithing tutorial to unlock the bed next to the forge.
This bed will be marked on your map, and a nearby chest provides convenient storage. Return here whenever you need to recover health.
Utilizing Campsites
When immediate access to your bed isn't feasible, numerous campsites are scattered throughout Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's landscape. While some may be occupied by bandits (requiring a bit of action before you can rest), others are vacant. These campsites, marked on your map, offer bedrolls for sleeping. Comfort may be less than a proper bed, but they serve the purpose.
Sleeping in an NPC's bed is a last resort; getting caught will likely lead to a confrontation with the guards.
