The Pokémon Go June update is just around the corner, bringing a wave of exciting new features and events to brighten up even the rainiest of pre-summer days. Trainers can look forward to a variety of high-profile additions, including new Shadow and Gigantamax Pokémon, fresh five-star raids, Max Battles, and much more.
New Featured Pokémon
This month introduces three powerful new featured Pokémon: Shadow Regice, Gigantamax Inteleon, and Gigantamax Cinderace. These rare and impressive forms offer unique looks and enhanced abilities, making them must-catch additions for any serious trainer.
In addition to these stars, Pokémon Go will host five special Dynamax battles throughout June. Each one will feature a different Pokémon appearing in Max Battle locations and Power Spots:
- Chansey – June 2nd
- Machop – June 9th–15th
- Hatenna – June 16th–22nd
- Caterpie – June 23rd–29th
- Shuckle – June 30th–July 6th
Five-Star Raids and Legendary Encounters
For those who love taking on the toughest foes, June brings a series of new five-star raids featuring some iconic Pokémon. Be sure to mark your calendar with the following raid schedules:
- Tapu Bulu – June 3rd–5th
- Groudon – June 5th–14th
- Kyogre – June 14th–23rd
- Cabalion – June 30th–July 8th
Trainers also have the chance to encounter Shiny versions of these powerful creatures, so keep your fingers crossed and your Poké Balls ready!
Mega Raids and Shadow Raids
Mega Evolutions are back in full force this month, with several Mega Raids lined up alongside Shadow Regice appearances. Here's the schedule for Mega Raids:
- Mega Altaria – June 3rd–5th
- Mega Abomasnow – June 5th–14th
- Mega Manectric – June 14th–23rd
- Mega Beedrill – June 23rd–30th
- Mega Aggron – June 30th–July 8th
Shadow Regice will make its debut during weekend hours in June, giving trainers a limited-time opportunity to capture this elusive form.
