Marvel Rivals Season 1: Unlocking Recursive Destruction in Midtown
Season 1 of Marvel Rivals is here, bringing new characters, maps, and modes! A new challenge unlocks free rewards, including a Thor skin. This guide explains how to trigger Recursive Destruction in the Empire of Eternal Night: Midtown map.
What is Recursive Destruction?
The "Blood Moon Over the Big Apple" challenge requires triggering Recursive Destruction. This occurs when you destroy a Dracula-influenced object, and it reappears in its original state. Not all objects work; you need to identify the correct ones.
Finding Destructible Objects
Use Chrono Vision (keyboard "B" or console right D-pad) to see destructible objects. Only objects highlighted in red will trigger Recursive Destruction.
Triggering Recursive Destruction in Midtown
This challenge is in Quick Match (Midtown) mode. Initially, no red-highlighted objects are available. You must wait for the first checkpoint. Two buildings will then appear that trigger Recursive Destruction.
Completing the Challenge
During the match, locate and destroy these buildings. The reappearance might be missed in the heat of battle, but destroying them a few times should complete the challenge. If unsuccessful, simply replay the match. After completing this, you can tackle subsequent challenges featuring Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman.
