Deft Machine is a unique blend of dynamic platformer and 2D physics-based machine simulator that offers an engaging and unconventional gameplay experience.

You take the wheel of a quirky, off-road combat vehicle with a compact cabin. This nimble machine is equipped with a three-axle motor drive, a vertical spring-loaded mechanism, a small turbo jet engine, and a heavy rotating mace serving as your primary weapon. The vehicle also includes a limited trunk space with slots for carrying weapons and essential supplies.

Master this agile machine as you battle hostile creatures, destroy obstacles, balance on moving platforms, and collect guns and power-ups along the way.

Core Features and Mechanics:

✔ All game object interactions are powered by a robust 2D physics engine.
✔ Nearly every dynamic object in the game can be destroyed (though broken platforms regenerate).
✔ Your vehicle loses health from collisions, falls from height, or being crushed by objects.
✔ Fuel is consumed with every action—except using the trunk.
✔ Wheel torque, jump force, turbo thrust, and gunfire are all time-sensitive actions.
✔ Gain temporary positive or negative status effects during gameplay.
✔ Restore health, fuel, and time, or switch weapons on the fly.
✔ Skillful control is required to maneuver and stay balanced on moving platforms.
✔ Objects stuck in your wheels can be removed using your mace—a "controlled bug" mechanic.

Game Modes

1. CAMPAIGN MODE

You’ve been dispatched to a remote, unnamed planet to test your vehicle’s durability and your driving skills. Break open crates, hunt for keys, gather them, locate the exit door, and enter it to finish the level and unlock the next one. Success demands both mechanical precision and strategic thinking.

Recommended for experienced players.

Campaign Features & Mechanics:

✔ Gameplay revolves around in-game gold transactions.
✔ Pay gold to play a level and earn more upon completion.
✔ Purchase weapons, health, fuel, time boosts, and other supplies before starting each level.
✔ Sell excess weapons and items from your trunk at the store.
✔ Earn extra gold via the “Catch Gold” mini-game.
✔ If you run out of gold without any means to recover it, you'll need to start a new campaign.
✔ Some randomness involved—luck plays a role in progression.
✔ Progress is saved automatically—no manual save/load functionality available.

(P.S. This mode is designed to offer a challenging experience reminiscent of classic "old school" games.)

2. SANDBOX MODE

Unleash your creativity! Use the factory panel (located at the bottom of the screen) to spawn nearly any in-game object anywhere on the map. Build structures, add enemies, grab weapons, and dive into chaotic battles—it's all up to you.

Sandbox Features & Mechanics:

✔ Open the factory menu, choose an object, and tap the screen to place it.
✔ Enable the “OverSpawn” option in Settings to spawn objects even inside static terrain (may cause minor physics anomalies in rare cases).
✔ Select colors in the factory to assign enemy factions.
✔ Pan, zoom in/out with camera controls.
✔ Toggle the “F” button to enable or disable camera follow.
✔ Disable factory functions anytime by toggling the “P” button.
✔ Customize the factory window: move, resize, adjust opacity.
