If the dealer doesn't have blackjack, play continues and you must choose how to proceed with your hand:

• Hit: Take another card. You can continue hitting until you reach 21 or bust.
• Double Down: Double your original bet and receive exactly one more card. No further hits allowed after this third card.
• Split: If your first two cards are of equal value (e.g., two 8s or two Aces), you can split them into two separate hands. Your bet is doubled—one for each hand. Each hand gets a second card. If you split Aces, the hand ends after the second card. For all other splits, you can hit, stand, or double on each new hand. Some games also allow re-splitting if you draw another matching pair.
