Alias Football

The ultimate social game to play after watching a match. Explain and guess football terms with your friends.

ALIAS FOOTBALL is a team-based guessing game where opponents try to identify as many football-related “names” — players, clubs, and managers — as possible within a set time limit.

To play Alias Football, you need at least two teams of two or more players. On each turn, one player describes the “names” shown on a card without saying the actual word, using clues, facts, or other hints. Their teammates must guess correctly before time runs out. Each correct guess earns the team one point. The first team to reach the target score wins the game.

GAME OPTIONS

Modes

Before starting, choose one of two available game modes in the Game Settings.

• Classic

In Classic mode, each card contains five “names.” You must guess all names on the card before advancing to the next one.

• Arcade

In Arcade mode, each card shows only one “name.” Guess it to move forward, or skip it at a cost of one point.

Score and Time

Before the game begins, set your target “Score” and round “Time” in Game Settings. The winning score is the total points needed to win. Time sets the duration of each round in seconds.

Pack

Before playing, select your preferred “pack”—a themed collection of player, manager, and club names. By default, the standard pack includes well-known football figures and teams.

Some packs allow you to filter by player names only or include managers and clubs. Certain packs also offer “Easy” and “Hard” difficulty levels.

Teams

You can play with the default two teams or add more. There is also an option to customize your team name before starting.

Kick-off

Tap “Kick off” to begin a round. During play, view your current points and remaining time. After each round, the overall game score is displayed.
