Tute is a beloved card game that enjoys widespread popularity in Spain and across Latin America. This engaging game can be played by 2 to 5 individuals or by four players divided into teams of two, making it a versatile choice for gatherings of different sizes.

The objective of Tute is to be the first player or team to accumulate a predetermined number of points. The game utilizes a traditional Spanish deck consisting of forty cards. In Tute, the card hierarchy from highest to lowest is as follows: Ace (worth 11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4 points), Knight (3 points), Jack (2 points), and the remaining cards 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (referred to as white cards, which carry no point value).

Gameplay begins with the first card played setting the suit for the round. Players must follow suit if possible. If a player cannot follow suit, they may play any card, including trump cards. The trump suit's highest card always wins the trick, but if no trump cards are played, the trick is awarded to the highest card of the leading suit.

To maximize your score, players can call out "20" and "40" during the game, which can lead to additional points. Singing "Tute" is another strategic move that can clinch victory.
