IRmobile

The new IRmobile app by Optris is designed for use with IR thermometers (pyrometers) and IR cameras. It allows users to monitor and analyze their infrared temperature measurements directly on a connected smartphone or tablet. The app is compatible with most Android devices running version 12 or higher, with a microUSB or USB-C port supporting USB-OTG. It is easy to operate, as the app automatically starts when the Optris pyrometer or IR camera is plugged into the device. The app includes a simulator for both pyrometers and cameras, allowing users to try out various functions even without connected devices. Features of the app include the ability to change temperature units, a temperature-time diagram with zoom function, live infrared images with automatic hot-/cold-spot search, and more. The IRmobile app supports Optris pyrometers from the Compact series, high-performance series, and videothermometers, as well as the PI and Xi series of IR cameras. It is available for use on Android devices running 12.0 or higher with a microUSB or USB-C port supporting USB-OTG. Recommended smartphones for use with IR cameras include Samsung S10, Galaxy S21, Sony Xperia XA1 Plus G3421, Google Pixel 6 and 7, and Xiaomi Note 8, Note 11, and Mi10T Pro.
