The South Meraung Village

In the heart of a dense, fog-laden forest, Agung and Arip stumbled upon a place that time seemed to have forgotten: The South Meraung Village. The village was shrouded in an eerie silence, its dilapidated houses whispering tales of a forgotten past. Agung, always the more adventurous of the two, couldn't resist the allure of the unknown and ventured deeper into the village, leaving Arip behind.

As Agung explored, the fog thickened, and the air grew colder. He felt an inexplicable chill run down his spine, as if unseen eyes were watching his every move. The deeper he went, the more the village seemed to come alive with sinister energy. Shadows danced at the corners of his vision, and whispers filled his ears, growing louder with each step he took.

Meanwhile, Arip, realizing Agung had gone too far, set out to find his friend. The village's oppressive atmosphere weighed heavily on him, but his determination to save Agung propelled him forward. As he searched, he noticed strange symbols etched into the walls of the houses—symbols that seemed to pulse with a dark energy.

Agung, now deep within the village, stumbled upon an ancient temple at its center. The temple's entrance was adorned with grotesque carvings of monstrous beings, their eyes seeming to follow him. Compelled by a force he couldn't understand, Agung stepped inside. The air inside the temple was thick with the scent of decay, and the walls were covered in more of those ominous symbols.

As Agung explored the temple, he felt a presence behind him. Turning around, he saw nothing but the darkness, yet the feeling of being watched intensified. Panic set in, and he tried to leave, but the temple's exit seemed to recede further with each step he took. The whispers grew into a cacophony of voices, chanting in a language he couldn't comprehend.

Arip, guided by a gut feeling, found the temple and rushed inside. He called out for Agung, his voice echoing off the stone walls. Finally, he spotted Agung, who was now surrounded by a swirling mist that seemed to be pulling him deeper into the temple. Arip rushed to his friend, grabbing his arm and pulling him away from the mist.

Together, they ran out of the temple, the village's malevolent energy chasing them. As they reached the edge of The South Meraung Village, the fog lifted, and the oppressive atmosphere dissipated. They looked back to see the village vanish into the mist, as if it had never existed.

Shaken but safe, Agung and Arip vowed never to speak of The South Meraung Village again, knowing that some mysteries are better left undiscovered.
