Wuthering Waves Marks 1st Year With 2.3 Update

Wuthering Waves has officially released its Version 2.3 update, implementing the changes across four distinct phases. This major update marks both the game's first anniversary and its debut on Steam, finally bringing the experience to PC players.

Wuthering Waves Version 2.3: Fiery Arpeggio of Summer

The update introduces fresh content including new characters, story expansions, and special events. Players with sufficient Union Level will find weeks worth of engaging gameplay. Available from April 29th through June 12th, 2025.

Story expansions feature "A Blaze in the Dark" and "Your Summer Will Never Witter" narratives. Three new Phantom Echoes join the roster: Crownless (with Nightmare variant), Nimbus Wraith, and the deceptive Chest Mimic.

The anniversary login event "Gifts of Grand Celebration" (May 23rd-June 11th) rewards players with Radiant Tides and Moment of Resonance (Union Level 8 required).

Additional login bonuses include "Gifts of Grand Reunion" (April 29th-June 11th) and "Gifts of Melodic Verses" (June 5th-June 19th), offering Radiant Tide, Lustrous Tide, Astrite, Modifiers, and upgrade materials.

Returning and New Mini-Games

The popular Cubie Derby returns in two formats - as a casual warm-up activity and a spectator event where players support their favorite Cubes. This dice-based board game rewards participants with Phantom: Chest Mimic and Flight Aspect: Laureate.

The initial gacha phase (until June 11th) features Resonators Lumi, Taoqi, and Yuanwu alongside weapons Dauntless Evernight, Overture, and Hollow Mirage.

Other highlights include the Solaris Film Festival event. The game is available on Google Play Store for mobile players.
