World of Warcraft: The War Within - Patch 11.1 Prologue and Dalaran Epilogue Guide

The narrative of World of Warcraft: The War Within continues to unfold. Beyond the Siren Isle update, Season 2 (anticipated for late 2025) promises new endgame content and the expansion's next chapter. However, Patch 11.0.7 introduces crucial story quests setting the stage for Patch 11.1, focusing on the Goblin capital, Undermine. A separate questline concludes the tragic destruction of Dalaran.

Updated January 7, 2025: The recent campaign quests feel like a definitive ending. Dalaran's fate, after years in Warcraft lore, is sealed by The War Within's events. The Dalaran Epilogue provides closure and a farewell to this significant social hub from Wrath of the Lich King and Legion.

Spoilers Ahead!

How to Begin the Patch 11.1 Prologue ("Lingering Shadows" Campaign)

Lingering Shadows
Price of a Mission
Standing in the Way
No Breathing Room
Together, Alone
The Voice
Ringing in the Deeps
Good Help These Days
Hey, What's Going On?
Haywired and Hostile
Built to Blast
Bat Versus World
Found Friends

How to Begin the Dalaran Epilogue in World of Warcraft: The War Within

Initially gated for three weeks, the Dalaran Epilogue is now accessible (as of January 7th). Unlocking requires completing both The War Within's leveling campaign and the Level 80 campaign (requiring Renown Four with all four Khaz Algar factions).

Check Foundation Hall (Patch 11.1 prologue location). Khadgar's presence indicates readiness; if absent, further campaign quests are needed.
