Fatshark is set to elevate the gameplay experience of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide with their upcoming major content update, Nightmares & Visions. Scheduled for release on March 25, 2025, across all platforms, this expansion introduces an exciting new activity crafted by the mysterious Seferon. The centerpiece of this update is the Mortis Trials, a wave-based combat challenge set within psychic visions orchestrated by the ship's psyker. Each trial promises a unique experience due to the procedurally generated buffs and abilities players can choose before embarking on their runs.
Engaging in these visions not only tests players' combat skills but also allows them to unlock exclusive insights into characters related to the Mourning Star storyline, adding depth to the narrative. Alongside the Mortis Trials, the Havoc Mode is getting an upgrade with four new mutators designed to ramp up the challenge level. Fans of the Ogryn class will be thrilled with the revamped talent tree, which is tailored to enhance their gameplay significantly. To mark the occasion, a limited-time event will commence simultaneously with the update's release.
