How Bullseye Works in Marvel Snap
Bullseye is a 3-cost, 3-power card with an Activate ability that reads:
"Discard all cards that cost 1 or less from your hand. Afflict that many different enemy cards with -2 Power."
This means if you play Bullseye on Turn 5 or earlier, you can trigger his ability to discard any 0 or 1-cost cards from your hand—including those discounted by effects like Swarm after being discarded. Each discarded card allows you to afflict a different enemy card for -2 Power, up to the number of eligible cards you discarded.
One important detail: each enemy card can only be afflicted once. So while you won't be able to stack debuffs on a single high-value target like Iron Man five times, you can spread out a broad -2 Power penalty across your opponent’s board—making Bullseye especially effective in lanes with multiple threats.
He works particularly well in discard-focused strategies, where synergies with X-23, Hawkeye Kate Bishop, and Swarm help maximize his impact. However, like most Activate cards, Bullseye loses effectiveness on the final turn, so timing is crucial.
Best Day One Bullseye Decks in Marvel Snap
While Bullseye isn’t a must-have outside of discard builds, he does slot nicely into existing discard lists without needing a full rebuild around him. Here's a strong starting point:
Discard + Bullseye Deck List:
Scorn
X-23
Blade
Morbius
Hawkeye Kate Bishop
Swarm
Colleen Wing
Bullseye
Dracula
Proxima Midnight
MODOK
Apocalypse

The Series 5 cards in this build are Scorn, Hawkeye Kate Bishop, and Proxima Midnight. While Hawkeye can be swapped for Gambit, Scorn and Proxima are key.
This is essentially a standard discard deck with a new twist. If you have Bullseye active on the board, you can drop MODOK on Turn 5, activate Bullseye afterward, and apply wide-ranging debuffs using Scorn, X-23, Blade, Hawkeye Kate Bishop’s arrows, and any discounted Swarms. Then, you can deploy regenerated Swarms along with fresh draws, letting Dracula pull out Apocalypse for a game-winning combo.
Another alternative includes running Helacarrier and Victoria Hand, but that variant tends to be less consistent than this classic approach.

There's also a possibility of fitting Bullseye into the still-viable Hazmat-Ajax archetype, despite recent nerfs. Whether he outperforms current top-tier versions remains to be seen, but it's an intriguing option for players who enjoy experimenting:
Hazmat-Ajax + Bullseye Deck List:
Silver Sable
Nebula
Hydra Bob
Hazmat
Hawkeye Kate Bishop
US Agent
Luke Cage
Bullseye
Rocket Raccoon and Groot
Anti-Venom
Man-Thing
Ajax

Series 5 cards include Silver Sable, Hydra Bob, Hawkeye Kate Bishop, US Agent, Rocket Raccoon and Groot, Anti-Venom, and Ajax. Hydra Bob can be replaced with a cheaper 1-drop like regular Rocket Raccoon, but the rest are optimal for synergy.
In this setup, Bullseye acts almost like a secondary Hazmat by triggering debuffs through Silver Sable, Nebula, Hydra Bob, Hawkeye Kate Bishop’s arrows, and the 0-cost card drawn by Anti-Venom. This helps push Ajax to higher power levels, often allowing him to win a lane solo.
While not necessarily better than Red Guardian-based lists, this version offers a fun and unique way to use Bullseye if you already own the required cards and want something off the beaten path.
Is Bullseye Worth Spotlight Cache Keys or Collector’s Tokens?
If you're not a fan of discard mechanics or affliction-based strategies, Bullseye might not be worth investing in. Personally, I find his niche role too narrow compared to other upcoming cards like Moonstone and Aries, which offer broader utility and synergy with Surtur.
Unless you’re planning to explore discard-heavy or debuff-focused strategies, saving your Spotlight Cache Keys or Collector’s Tokens for more versatile additions may be the smarter move.
And there you have it—your complete guide to using Bullseye in Marvel Snap. Whether you're building around discard synergies or testing him in a modified Hazmat-Ajax shell, Bullseye adds a fresh layer of strategy to the game.
