The Pokémon Go "Small Yet Strong" event is bringing tiny but mighty Pokémon to your game! Running from February 5th to 8th, this event offers boosted XP, increased chances of finding extra-small (XXS) and extra-large (XXL) Pokémon, and the debut of Shiny Nymble.
This event is a great opportunity to bolster your team before the upcoming Pokémon Go Tour: Unova. Catch Pokémon for double XP, and keep an eye out for those unusually sized XXS and XXL Pokémon in the wild. Shiny Nymble makes its first appearance, adding a sought-after addition to your collection.
Wild encounters will feature increased spawns of Paras, Natu, Joltik, and various Burmy forms. Raid battles will offer a chance to catch Dialga and Enamorus (Incarnate Forme) in Five-Star Raids, and Mega Medicham and Mega Tyranitar in Mega Raids. Both raid and wild encounters offer Shiny Pokémon possibilities.
Collectors will want to hatch 2km Eggs for Togepi, Azurill, Budew, and Dedenne. Field Research tasks reward encounters with Burmy and Nymble. Don't forget the event-themed Timed Research and Collection Challenge, offering Stardust, Poké Balls, and more event Pokémon encounters. Regional variations of Flabébé (Red, Blue, and Yellow Flower) will appear, with a chance to find White or Orange Flower Flabébé regardless of location.
PokéStop Showcases will also feature event Pokémon. Finally, be sure to check the Pokémon Go Web Store for essential supplies. Get ready for some small but powerful Pokémon encounters!
