DC Studios has unveiled an exciting new trailer for the upcoming Superman movie, directed by James Gunn, set to hit theaters on July 11, 2025. This three-minute glimpse offers fans a deeper dive into the film's extensive ensemble of superheroes and supervillains.

The trailer showcases Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner / Green Lantern, effortlessly dispatching foes with a simple hand gesture, alongside Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl. We also get our most detailed look yet at María Gabriela de Faría's The Engineer, who is revealed to be the one responsible for destroying the robots in Superman's Fortress of Solitude, including the beloved Kelex.

In a thrilling sequence, Krypto the Superdog is seen executing a flying punch against The Engineer, demonstrating his readiness to confront villains head-on. The trailer also provides more screen time for Lex Luthor, played by Nicholas Hoult, and introduces Ultraman to the fray. Additionally, we see more of Edi Gathegi's Mister Terrific and Anthony Carrigan's Rex Mason / Metamorpho.

The newly introduced character, The Hammer of Boravia, makes a significant appearance in the trailer, believed to be Ultraman in disguise, as hinted in a previous teaser. This character plays a pivotal role in the plot, attacking Downtown Metropolis in response to Superman's controversial actions in Boravia.

Central to the narrative is the dynamic between Clark Kent and Lois Lane, portrayed during an intense interview where they clash over the ethics of Superman's intervention in a foreign war. Clark defends his actions, stating, "I wasn’t representing anyone except for me... and doing good!" This scene underscores the film's exploration of morality and heroism.

In another compelling moment, a civilian is shown helping Superman out of a hole in the ground, a stark contrast to other scenes where the public expresses anger and even hostility towards him. These contrasting reactions highlight the complex relationship between Superman and the citizens of Metropolis.
