The SWC2025 season is officially live, marking the return of Summoners War to the global esports spotlight with its ninth annual World Arena Championship. Registration for SWC2025 is currently open via the Summoners War: Sky Arena event page and will remain active until June 30th at midnight PT. Players who performed well during World Arena Seasons 32 and 33 will be invited to compete in the preliminary stages across three main regions: Europe, the Americas, and Asia-Pacific.

SWC2025 Preliminary Schedule

The Asia-Pacific region will be further divided into four sub-regions: Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Others in Asia. Each sub-region will send eight top-tier players into the first phase of the tournament. The preliminaries are scheduled from late July through August and will follow a double elimination format with best-of-five matchups to determine who advances to the Regional Cups.

Regional Cups Head Offline

The action moves offline as the Regional Cups begin. Europe will host its closed qualifier on September 20th, setting the stage for intense competition. The excitement continues with the Americas Cup taking place in São Paulo on October 11th, followed by the Asia-Pacific Cup in Busan on October 18th. Each live event will crown three finalists who will earn their spot in the ultimate showdown—the SWC2025 World Finals.

Open Qualifiers Offer Second Chance

For players not selected through the standard bracket, there’s still hope. Open Qualifier events will be held in France and Hangzhou, offering three more summoners a direct path to the World Finals—one from Paris and two from China.
