Black Ops 6 Zombies: Bull Mural Tomb Guide

The Tomb is the newest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies map, packed with Easter eggs and puzzles to uncover powerful weapons. One of the trickiest challenges is the Bull Mural. This guide walks you through completing it step by step.

Finding and Solving the Bull Mural in Black Ops 6 Zombies: The Tomb

Completing the Bull Mural puzzle is essential to obtain the Ice Staff, one of the Wonder Weapons available in The Tomb. Finishing it grants players one of the three components needed to assemble the Ice Staff. The mural is located in the Tombs section, the first accessible area after unlocking the main door from the spawn zone. The room containing the puzzle becomes available once you move the tomb door.

Before tackling the Bull Mural in Black Ops 6 Zombies, players need to Pack-a-Punch a weapon and defeat a Shock Mimic. Once defeated, pick up the Monocle it drops—this item is necessary for the next stages of building the Ice Staff. With the Monocle in hand, proceed to the far right side of the tomb area where purple lanterns are visible.

Shoot all the purple lanterns in the vicinity until the light in front of the Bull Mural starts glowing. Then, approach the mural—you’ll notice eight glowing symbols resembling Roman numerals on the bull. Your objective is to shoot these symbols in numerical order, starting from one and ending at eight.

Once the symbols are shot in the correct sequence, a wave-based challenge begins. A purple orb appears and moves between different rooms. Follow it, and in each room, eliminate the special zombies that spawn. This occurs five times across different locations in The Tomb, making the process fairly challenging—particularly in solo play. With a squad, however, this phase usually takes just a few minutes.

Whether playing solo or in a group, having a Pack-a-Punched weapon and ample Essence is key to survival. Be sure to restock ammunition between rooms, especially since the challenge includes armored and special zombie types. After surviving all zombie waves, the Ice Staff body piece will drop, moving you closer to crafting the Wonder Weapon. The next step involves solving another mural and advancing further in the puzzle sequence.
