Mariah Carey has arrived in Fortnite, kicking off the 2024 Winterfest event! To complete the Wintervestigation Quests, you'll need to find SGT. Winter. Here's how:
SGT. Winter's Location in Fortnite Chapter 6
The initial Wintervestigation Quest directs you to SGT. Winter. These quests involve teaming up with Noir to uncover clues and locate new NPCs. The quest tracker will pinpoint SGT. Winter's location—a snowy mountain near a plane crash site, east of Warrior's Watch and south of Foxy Floodgate. It's close to Mariah Carey's in-game performance location.
Talking to SGT. Winter
SGT. Winter, marked by a speech bubble, patrols near the plane wreckage. Interact with him; you can buy items (like the Holo Twister Assault Rifle or Blizzard Grenade) or choose the magnifying glass icon to begin the Wintervestigation dialogue. Completing the conversation rewards 25,000 XP and sends you to Noir in Seaport City.
Surviving the SGT. Winter Hotspot
SGT. Winter's location is a popular drop zone. To survive:
- Strategic Landing: Aim for an early drop and a nearby chest for quick loot.
- Use Cover: The plane wreckage provides excellent cover.
- Early Engagement: Eliminate opponents quickly, many might only have pickaxes initially.
- Buy Your Way Out: Purchase items from SGT. Winter to avoid prolonged combat.
Find SGT. Winter and complete the Wintervestigation!
