Author : Claire Update:May 16,2025

The highly anticipated 0.3.4 update for the viral hit drug dealer simulator, Schedule I, has been released by developer Tyler after a brief testing period. The update, detailed in the Steam patch notes, marks the first major content expansion for the game since its explosive early access launch on March 24.

In a Steam post, Tyler expressed his apologies for the delay in rolling out the update, stating, “I'm still ironing out the update/testing process.” He reassured players that starting next month, larger monthly updates would be released more smoothly and on time.

Looking ahead, Tyler emphasized his focus on resolving remaining bugs, which he listed as top priorities. These include ensuring consistent employee performance, preventing save game corruption or loss, and minimizing disconnections and loading issues in multiplayer. He also mentioned ongoing efforts to improve optimization and achieve Steam Deck verification, which will serve as a performance benchmark.

For those eager to delve deeper into the game, IGN's Schedule I guide offers comprehensive insights into the basics of mixing recipes, creating new blends for maximum profit, accessing console commands, and the fastest way to engage in multiplayer co-op to conquer Hyland Point with friends.

Upon its launch, Schedule I was the top-selling game on Steam, outpacing major titles like Monster Hunter Wilds, GTA 5, and Marvel Rivals. Its viral spread across social media, Twitch, and YouTube propelled it to fame. In Schedule I, players start as a small-time drug dealer in the gritty city of Hyland Point, with the goal of becoming a kingpin by manufacturing and distributing various drugs. Players can expand their empire through properties, businesses, and hiring employees.

Developed and published by TVGS, the Australian indie developer Tyler described the game's explosive launch as "amazing but pretty overwhelming." In a post on reddit, Tyler shared his astonishment at the game's reception, saying, “I never expected this kind of response! At the moment I’m just trying to stay focused and get patches out ASAP. Also looking forward to getting started on content updates as soon as all major bugs are patched.”
