Ryan Reynolds has sparked speculation about Deadpool's future within the Marvel universe, casting doubt on the character's potential inclusion in either the Avengers or the X-Men. Reynolds stated that integrating Deadpool into these teams would signify the character's "end," suggesting that such a move would fulfill Deadpool's wishes too completely, stripping away the edge that defines him.

Despite the success of Deadpool & Wolverine and Deadpool's expressed desire to join the Avengers within the film, Reynolds' comments imply that Marvel Studios may not be planning to have the 'Merc with a Mouth' officially join these iconic teams.
