Regretting your Avowed character build? Don't worry, respeccing is possible! This guide details how to adjust your stats, abilities, and even your companion's skills.
Why Respec?
Choosing the right class and attributes at the start can be tricky. Respeccing allows you to correct mistakes or experiment with different playstyles. Whether you want to shift from a pure mage to a spellsword, or simply optimize your combat effectiveness, this feature is invaluable.
Respeccing Your Abilities
To reset your ability points:
- Open the in-game menu.
- Navigate to the "Abilities" section.
- Locate the "Reset Points" option near the bottom.
- Pay the listed cost (starting at 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing with game progression). Note that "Godlike" abilities are excluded and obtained through in-game choices.
Respeccing Your Attributes
To redistribute your attribute points:
- Access the in-game menu.
- Go to the "Character" section.
- Find the "Reset Attributes" button below the attribute list.
- Pay the cost (initially 100 Copper Skeyt, increasing over time).
Respeccing Your Companion
To reset your companion's abilities:
- Open the in-game menu.
- Select the "Abilities" section, then the "Companions" tab.
- Find the respec option under your companion's name.
- Pay the required Copper Skeyt. Remember: each companion requires individual respeccing.
