Pokémon Go has introduced a new $100 Premier Access ticket upgrade for its upcoming Go Fest: Jersey City event, set to take place at Liberty State Park. This premium add-on enhances the experience for attendees by providing access to exclusive in-game items and upgraded real-world facilities.
Go Fest, the annual summer highlight for Pokémon Go, will also occur in Paris, France, and Osaka, Japan this year. The Jersey City event now offers players the chance to elevate their visit with the Premier Access upgrade, as announced by developer Niantic.
This upgrade, which could be likened to a Business Class option, includes access to a Premier Access lounge. The lounge features "upgraded restrooms, portable charger kiosks with lockers, and seating to recharge yourself for your next adventure." While specifics on the restroom improvements remain undisclosed, these amenities are exclusive to Premier Access ticket holders.
Additionally, the upgrade offers fast-track entry to the Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store, allowing players to bypass long queues and maximize their playtime. This is particularly beneficial as the merchandise store is notoriously busy, and waiting in line can detract from the time available for catching Pokémon.

The highlight of the Premier Access upgrade is the extensive list of in-game items it provides. Players will receive:
- 100 Poké Balls
- 100 Great Balls
- 100 Ultra Balls
- 50 Silver Pinap Berries
- 100 Super Incubators
- 10 Lucky Eggs
- 10 Incense
- 10 Star Pieces
- 10 Lure Modules
- 10 Glacial Lure Modules
- 10 Magnetic Lure Modules
- 10 Mossy Lure Modules
- 10 Rainy Lure Modules
- 100 Premium Battle Passes
- 20 Max Particle Packs
- 5 Max Mushrooms
The total value of these items, if purchased separately, could easily exceed $300. Additionally, Premier Access ticket holders will receive an exclusive enamel pin badge.
The reaction to this premium offer has been mixed. Some players have expressed concerns over the high cost, noting that Pokémon Go has never before offered such an expensive ticket upgrade. Others appreciate the value of the in-game items included and recognize that for those who can afford it, the upgrade is an attractive option after already investing in travel and event entry.
IGN has reached out to Niantic for information on whether this offer will be available at other Go Fest locations.
Pokémon Go Fest 2025 will take place over the weekend of May 29 in Osaka, the weekend of June 6 in Jersey City, and the weekend of June 13 in Paris. This year's event will focus on the release of the Legendary creature Volcanion and the broader availability of the Mexican regional exclusive, Hawlucha.
