Pokémon Go Fest 2025 debuts Zacian & Zamazenta effects

New Adventure Effects Boost Battle Performance

The highly anticipated Crowned forms of Zacian and Zamazenta are coming to Pokémon Go with powerful new gameplay mechanics. Starting during Pokémon Go Fest 2025, these legendary Pokémon will introduce their signature Adventure Effects - Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash.

Unlocking Crowned Forms

To access these abilities, trainers must first collect 1,000 Crowned Sword Energy (for Zacian) or Crowned Shield Energy (for Zamazenta) through five-star raids or Special Research during Go Fest 2025. Once transformed, switching between forms becomes permanent and requires no additional resources.

Adventure Effect Mechanics

Activating either Behemoth Blade (offensive boost) or Behemoth Bash (defensive boost) costs:

• 5,000 Stardust
• 5 Pokémon Candy

Each effect lasts six minutes, providing crucial advantages during raids and Max Battles.

Max Battle Integration

While unable to Dynamax themselves, Crowned Zacian and Zamazenta will play significant roles in Max Battles. Their signature moves function similarly to Max Attacks, with additional:

• Special Guard moves
• Unique Spirit moves

All moves can be upgraded within this new battle format.

Event Timeline

Pokémon Go Fest 2025: Global runs from July 13th, featuring:

• Crowned Energy drops from five-star raids
• Anniversary celebrations with returning birthday-themed Pokémon
• Special anniversary bonuses
