Pokémon Go sees the return of Team Go Rocket for Fashion Week and Ho-Oh’s Shadow Raid Day

Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over – A Stylish Showdown!

Get ready for a fashionable fight in Pokémon GO! Fashion Week: Taken Over runs from January 15th to 19th, bringing a stylish battle against Team GO Rocket. This event offers a unique opportunity to challenge Giovanni and rescue Shadow Palkia. Furthermore, Shadow Ho-Oh will be available during a Shadow Raid Day on January 19th.

Two new Pokémon debut during this event: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. Shroodle can be hatched from 12 km Eggs. Expect increased Team GO Rocket activity at PokéStops and in balloons, providing ample chances to use Charged TMs to remove the Frustration move from your Shadow Pokémon.

New Shadow Pokémon join the roster, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep an eye out for Shiny variants! For the first time, you can participate in these Shadow Raids remotely using Remote Raid Passes.

A special research task will reward you with a Super Rocket Radar, leading to the Giovanni battle and Shadow Palkia rescue. Field Research tasks offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Complete a special Collection Challenge to earn Stardust and a Trubbish encounter. Don't forget to redeem your Pokémon GO codes!

Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day takes place on Sunday, January 19th, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event features extra Raid Passes, increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rates, and the chance to teach Ho-Oh the Sacred Fire Charged Attack. A $5 event ticket provides additional rewards.
