Get ready for the first Pokémon Go Community Day of 2025! Mark your calendars for January 5th, as Sprigatito takes center stage.
This Grass-type Pokémon will be appearing at increased rates from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm local time. Evolving your Sprigatito into Floragato, and then Meowscarada, during the event (or within five hours afterward) will grant it the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant, and the permanent Charged Attack, Flower Trick.
This Community Day offers boosted rewards: triple Stardust, double Candy for every catch, and double the chance for Candy XL (for Trainers level 31 and above). Lure Modules and Incense will last three hours, trades cost half the usual Stardust, and you'll get an extra Special Trade.
For an extra challenge, a paid Special Research ($2) provides exclusive rewards like a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and increased Sprigatito encounters. A free Timed Research will continue the fun for a week after Community Day, offering a Sprigatito with a special Dual Destiny background.
Don't forget to check the in-game shop for Community Day bundles featuring Super Incubators, Elite Charged TMs, and Lucky Eggs. Sprigatito-themed stickers will also be available from PokéStops, Gifts, and direct purchase. And remember to redeem those Pokémon Go codes for extra freebies!
