The Might and Mastery season in Pokémon Go is gearing up for an exciting finale, with Niantic placing a strong emphasis on teamwork. From Tuesday, May 20th to Thursday, May 22nd, the Strength in Numbers Global Challenge encourages you to send as many Gifts as you can to your friends. This event is all about fostering collaboration and boosting the global community's efforts.
During the challenge window, you'll have the opportunity to open up to 50 Gifts per day. This not only increases your chances of getting Stardust, items, and friendship boosts but also propels the global community closer to unlocking a fantastic reward: giftable Special Research tickets for the upcoming Community Day Classic: Machop.
If the challenge is successfully completed by the deadline, starting on May 23rd, you'll be able to send these Machop Special Research tickets to any friend you've reached Great Friends status with. Importantly, you can gift these tickets even if you haven't purchased one for yourself. Just head to the in-game shop and share the Fighting-type love. Each trainer can gift up to 20 tickets per day, providing ample opportunity to be generous.
This event seamlessly transitions into the Machop Community Day Classic on May 24th, running from 2 to 5 pm local time. During this period, the Superpower Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild, and Shiny Machop will make a return, offering everyone another chance to catch and evolve a green-glowing Machamp.
For those looking to power up, evolve Machoke up until May 31st to obtain a Machamp that knows Payback, a Dark-type Charged Attack that enhances the classic Fighter's performance in specific match-ups. With Stardust bonuses, three-hour Incense and Lures, and limited-time Timed Research offering a themed Machop encounter with boosted Shiny odds, there's no shortage of engaging content.
