Author : Olivia Update:May 06,2025

If you've been diving into Haegin's latest Dreamland update for *Play Together*, you might have been intrigued by the unique mechanic of needing to sleep to access this dreamy zone. But what if those whimsical dreams took a dark turn? That's exactly what's happening with the new Nightmare update, transforming Dreamland into a chilling experience.

The Queen of the Night has cast a sinister shadow over Dreamland, turning it into a Nightmare and causing her monstrous minions to invade not only the dream world but also the real world of Kaia Island. It's a race against time to confront and dethrone the Queen before the event concludes on May 21st. To do this, you'll need to wield the newly introduced Dream Gun.

You'll face five types of Nightmare Monsters prowling the island, from the eerie Sneering Pillow to the haunting Abandoned Doll. Successfully defeating them with your Dream Gun will earn you a unique reward: the Bed Consumed by Nightmares mount!

But it's not just the Nightmare Monsters you need to be wary of; even the normal creatures of Kaia Island have fallen victim to the nightmares. New types of fish and insects have appeared, which you can catch and trade for Nightmare Essence, the event's special currency.

Head over to the Dreamland Workshop to craft new nightmare-themed furniture like the Nightmare Music Box and the Nightmare Garden Lamp. Plus, you can get your hands on a new pet, the Nightmare Sheep.

We're committed to keeping you in the loop with the latest updates. To stay ahead of the game, check out our feature, "Ahead of the Game," where we delve into upcoming releases you can play now in early access across various platforms.
