Path of Exile 2 Update: Enhanced Gameplay and Custom Name Creation

Path of Exile 2's latest update, 0.1.1c, addresses several key issues and introduces notable improvements. The Grinding Gear Games team detailed the fixes and additions implemented in this significant patch.

Key improvements include:

  • Solo League to Local Coop Transfer Fix: Resolved a bug preventing access to the Cartwalker Machine after character transfers from solo league.
  • Local Coop UI Bug Fixes: Addressed various bugs in local cooperative mode where Player 2 could unlock Player 1's UI elements, such as high-level maps. Improved Player 2's movement between control points in local coop.
  • Increased Revival Attempts: Added up to five revival attempts in challenging areas: Distorted Possessions, the Olroth encounter, and the Essence of Nonexistence realm. Dying before defeating the Host in The Mists now revives players in the boss arena, restarting the fight.
  • Character Renaming via Website: A new feature allows players to rename their characters directly through the official website.

Despite some initial launch challenges, Path of Exile 2 remains a Steam chart-topper. Grinding Gear Games' commitment to addressing player concerns and consistently improving the game is evident in this substantial update.
