After two years of early access on PC, Mutants: Genesis has now fully launched and is available on Android, iOS, and Steam. Developed by Celsius Online, this online card game brings cards to life in an exciting way.
A Mutants Cards Game?
In Mutants: Genesis, you enter a futuristic world dominated by corporations and combat leagues. Here, you'll construct decks and summon mutants that transform into animated creatures, battling it out in holographic arenas. As a Psycog, a strategic mastermind, you command genetically modified mutants in fast-paced battles. As the new leader of the Panakeia team, your journey takes you across the globe to compete in the Xtrem Mutants Junior League, where you'll encounter new Champions and unlock new cards, strategies, and gene-based abilities. The game emphasizes adaptability, planning, and evolving your tactics with each turn.
Mutants: Genesis features over 200 cards, categorized into six distinct gene types. The Tech gene focuses on machines and precision, offering mutants with abilities like Self-Repair and Dual Core for quick, mechanical strikes. In contrast, the Necro gene introduces a darker theme, allowing you to harness death as a weapon with cards that resurrect stronger and utilize unique resources like Bones to enhance your forces.
The Blades gene rewards sharp tactical thinking, using Orbs and condition-based powers to shift the battle's momentum. Zoo introduces chaos, where mutants rush in, evolve rapidly, and unleash surprises as they advance. Space brings a militaristic approach, emphasizing squad unity and robust defenses. Lastly, the Mystic gene harnesses magical forces, using abilities like Burn and Stasis to control the battle's pace while summoning mythical creatures.
