Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade is set to dazzle players with its second update, introducing the exciting Spring Hunt 2025 event. This online paid event, running from May 24th to May 25th, 2025, promises an immersive experience centered around the elusive elder dragon, Chameleos.
What’s the Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?
The Spring Hunt 2025 event in Monster Hunter Now requires an event ticket, which you can purchase from the in-game shop. This ticket grants you access to uninterrupted Elder Dragon Interceptions, focusing solely on Chameleos. This means no waiting periods between Interceptions and Hunt-a-thons, ensuring a seamless hunting experience. Additionally, participants can earn exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear, adding a unique flair to their hunter's appearance.
The event also features Event Exchange Hubs, with two hubs available. The Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub will be open from May 19th at 9:00 a.m. until June 2nd at 11:59 p.m. During the event, from May 19th to May 25th, you can collect tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can then be exchanged for valuable items such as the Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more, enhancing your arsenal and gear.
Eager to Get Your Hands on Chameleos?
Chameleos, known for its stealthy abilities and the ability to obscure visibility with its mysterious fog, will be the star of the show starting May 24th, 2025. Players can engage in Elder Dragon Interceptions to challenge this vanishing menace. If you're ranked 100 or above, you'll have the chance to encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once they enter a preliminary state, starting at 9:00 a.m. on May 24th. Chameleos is particularly susceptible to Fire, Dragon, and Blast damage, so make sure to equip your gear accordingly.
Defeating Chameleos will allow you to craft the new Mizuha Set armor, which features the Chameleos Venomist skill. This skill reduces the duration of poison and venom effects on you by half and makes it easier to inflict poison on your targets. Moreover, materials from Chameleos can be used to craft a wide range of weapons, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. So, prepare yourself by downloading Monster Hunter Now from the Google Play Store and get ready for the Spring Hunt 2025.
