The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) is set to return to Riyadh for the 2025 Esports World Cup, featuring a thrilling $3 million prize pool. This event underscores the growing commitment of the Esports World Cup (EWC) to mobile esports, with MSC scheduled to make another appearance in 2026.
The tournament kicks off with the Wildcard stage, running from July 10th to 13th during the EWC Festival. This stage offers teams a final opportunity to secure their place in the main event. Following the Wildcard, the main MSC tournament will take place from July 23rd to August 2nd, showcasing 16 of the world's top MLBB teams.
The format for this year's MSC remains consistent with previous years, featuring a group stage with two double-elimination brackets of eight teams each, followed by a single-elimination playoff for the top eight teams. In addition to the substantial prize pool, the tournament MVP will receive a $10,000 bonus.
Qualification tournaments are currently underway globally. Teams from key regions such as MPL Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, and LATAM are competing for their spots, while champions from regions like Cambodia, Türkiye, and Myanmar are either already qualified or close to securing their positions.
The North America Challenger Tournament has concluded, with BloodThirstyKings earning their spot in the MSC. The MSC x EWC China Qualifier and the MSC Wildcard in July will finalize the tournament lineup.
