Minecraft Movie to Feature Exclusive Popcorn Bucket

Remember those themed popcorn buckets? Of course you do. Well, the upcoming Minecraft movie is jumping on the bandwagon with its own unique concessions novelties that will be available during its theatrical run. According to images shared by DiscussingFilm on X / Twitter, the Minecraft movie will feature a TNT box as its popcorn bucket and a chicken jockey drink container, catering specifically to the fans' love for these iconic game elements. These items will be exclusive to Cinemark theaters in the United States, but other theaters might also have special offerings for Minecraft enthusiasts.

These Minecraft-themed novelties are part of a trend that started with the viral R2-D2 popcorn bucket for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019. The success of that bucket inspired theater executives to continue this tradition, which, while perhaps overdone and pricey, keeps audiences engaged and excited about the theatrical experience.
