Metaphor: ReFantazio Party Member Recruitment Guide: A Detailed Timeline

Beyond the protagonist, seven companions will join your adventure in Metaphor: ReFantazio, each contributing to combat. While Gallica is present from the start, her combat role is limited. New party members join on specific days during key story events. Note: Reading this guide may reveal minor story spoilers regarding party member appearances.

Spoiler Warning: This guide reveals the recruitment dates for party members in Metaphor: ReFantazio.

Each party member awakens to a unique Archetype, usable by any party member after awakening. Early companions may be initially AI-controlled before gaining full player control upon Archetype awakening.

Party Member Recruitment Schedule:

• Strohl (Warrior): Joins on June 5th (Border Fort events), but his Archetype awakens on June 6th (Nord Mines), granting full player control.

• Grius: Joins after the Border Fort events, but becomes fully playable on June 6th after Strohl's awakening. Grius does not undergo a traditional Archetype awakening.

• Hulkenberg (Knight): Begins interacting on June 10th, but fully joins the party and awakens her Archetype during the boss fight on June 11th.

• Heismay (Thief): Appears during free time in Martira. His Archetype awakens and he joins the party on July 4th within the town's main dungeon.

• Junah (Masked Dancer): Appears throughout the game, finally awakening her Archetype and joining the party on August 13th.

• Eupha (Summoner): Her recruitment is flexible. Completing the Dragon Temple Dungeon between August 19th and September 4th (Viraga Island free time) adds Eupha to the party for the final boss. Her Bond quest begins after this period.

• Basilio (Berserker): Awakens and joins during Saint's Day events on September 11th. Full combat use is available the following day, if chosen.
