Mastering Sprays and Emotes in Marvel Rivals
Marvel Rivals lets you showcase your favorite heroes and villains, but adding some flair with sprays and emotes enhances the experience. This guide explains how to use and unlock these cosmetic items.
Using Sprays and Emotes
To deploy a spray or emote during a match, press and hold the 'T' key. This activates the cosmetics wheel, allowing you to select your desired item. Note that this keybinding is customizable in the game's settings.
Crucially, sprays and emotes must be equipped individually for each character. There's no global setting for your entire roster. To equip cosmetics:
- Access the hero gallery from the main menu.
- Select your character.
- Navigate to the "Cosmetics" tab.
- Choose "Costumes," "MVP," "Emotes," or "Sprays."
- Equip your preferred items.
Unlocking More Sprays
Most cosmetics in Marvel Rivals are purchased with real money via the Battle Pass's Luxury track. However, some free options are available on the free track.
Completing daily and event missions earns Chrono Tokens, redeemable for additional cosmetics through the Battle Pass. Improving your character proficiency also unlocks cosmetic rewards.
