MageTrain, the upcoming mobile game from Tidepool Games, is set to revolutionize the classic Snake gameplay with a magical twist. Launching next month, this free-to-play roguelike combines auto-battler mechanics with strategic positioning, offering an engaging experience that's easy to grasp but packed with depth. Pre-orders are now open for iOS and Android, promising a unique blend of action and strategy.

Inspired by Nimble Quest, MageTrain expands on the idea of leading a chain of heroes. Players will guide a magical train of warriors through enemy-filled arenas, carefully positioning each hero to maximize their attacks and avoid deadly collisions. At launch, players can unlock nine heroes, each with unique abilities influenced by their position in the train. Whether leading from the front or supporting from the back, every hero plays a crucial role in your strategy.

The game features eight dungeons, 28 enemy types, and 30 different skills, allowing players to develop powerful team synergies. MageTrain adopts a roguelike structure similar to Slay the Spire and FTL, with each run offering randomized challenges. As you navigate through the game, you'll collect gold, power-ups, and upgrades that shape your strategy.
