Mortal Kombat 1 has revealed gameplay footage of a fresh Kameo fighter arriving this March. Learn all about Madam Bo's unique fighting style and what she contributes to the roster!
Mortal Kombat 1 Welcomes Madam Bo
New Kameo Fighter
The fighting game has just debuted the official trailer for its newest Kameo fighter - Fengjian Teahouse owner Madam Bo. She arrives alongside villainous guest character T-1000 from Terminator 2 on March 18, 2025 as part of Kombat Pack 2 and the Khaos Reigns expansion.
Before joining as an assist character, Madam Bo appeared in Mortal Kombat 1's story mode, where she appeared to suffer defeat against Lin Kuei assassin Smoke for unpaid protection money. This was later revealed as an elaborate training ruse to prepare Raiden and Kung Lao for the tournament. Despite her elderly appearance, Madam Bo boasts impressive combat skills as a former Lin Kuei associate and mentor to the two champions.
The gameplay showcase depicts Madam Bo fighting alongside her students, aiding them with powerful strikes that culminate in shattering glass bottles and a brutal finishing fatality - cleanly decapitating opponents with a kick before gracefully catching their head on a tea tray.
T-1000 Makes Its Guest Debut
Accompanying Madam Bo's arrival is the liquid metal assassin T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgement Day. This advanced cybernetic killer marks its Mortal Kombat franchise debut as a playable fighter, utilizing shape-shifting abilities to transform limbs into weapons like blades and firearms.
Mortal Kombat 1: Khaos Reigns Expansion
Madam Bo and T-1000 join as part of the Khaos Reigns expansion, introducing a new story campaign expanding Liu Kang's New Era narrative through cinematic sequences. Players will witness his champions' battle against Titan Havik's world-threatening forces.
The Kombat Pack 2 DLC progressively adds characters throughout 2024-2025, beginning with Sektor, Noob Saibot, and Cyrax in September 2024, followed by Ghostface (November 2024) and Conan the Barbarian (January 2025). Madam Bo and T-1000 complete the roster additions this March.
