Played By A Live Orchestra

The renowned theme of Final Fantasy 7's antagonist, Sephiroth, "One-Winged Angel," kicked off the Louis Vuitton Men's Fall-Winter Fashion Show with a live orchestra performance. As models paraded down the runway in luxurious attire, the majestic tune set an unforgettable tone for the event.

Pharrell Williams, serving as the creative director, curated the show's soundtrack, which predominantly featured pop artists like The Weeknd, Playboy Carti, Don Toliver, and K-POP stars SEVENTEEN and BTS' j-hope. However, the choice of "One-Winged Angel" stood out, composed by the legendary Nobuo Uematsu. While Pharrell contributed to the composition of other tracks, his selection of "One-Winged Angel" hints at a personal appreciation for the sound or perhaps a hidden passion for Final Fantasy.

For those intrigued by the fusion of fashion and video game music, the livestream of the event is accessible on Louis Vuitton's official YouTube channel.

Square Enix Is More Than Happy To Hear The News

Square Enix expressed their delight on the official Final Fantasy 7 X (Twitter) account, stating, "We're more than happy to hear music director Pharrell Williams and team have included One-Winged Angel in the Louis Vuitton Men Fall-Winter 2025 Fashion Show!" They accompanied their statement with a link to the video, showcasing their excitement about the unexpected feature.

Final Fantasy 7 stands as a beloved entry in the long-standing series, narrating the epic journey of Cloud Strife and his companions as they combat the threats posed by the Shinra Corporation and the menacing Sephiroth. Since its debut in 1997, it has left an indelible mark on gamers worldwide.

The game's resurgence was marked by a surprise trailer at E3 2015, followed by a gameplay reveal at PlayStation Experience 2015. The Final Fantasy 7 Remake Project, envisioned as a trilogy, is currently developing its third installment, reimagining the classic with updated graphics, new content, dynamic combat, and fresh narratives.

The first part of the trilogy, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, is playable on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. The sequel, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, is available on PlayStation 5, with a PC release scheduled for Steam on January 23rd.
