Permanent upgrades and usable items in Kingdom Rush 5 tower defense give you more options to play and replay.In the story, after the last major battle, Vez’nan finds King Denas in a mysterious portal. Loyal to their king, the champions and forces of Linirea set out on a rescue mission, only to encounter Vez’nan himself. He proposes an alliance, believing that a greater threat looms on the horizon.
