In a recent interview with Variety, David Koepp, the screenwriter behind the iconic 1993 film "Jurassic Park" and the upcoming "Jurassic World Rebirth," shared insights into his creative process for the new film. Koepp, who revisited Michael Crichton's original "Jurassic Park" novels to reconnect with the series' roots, disclosed that he incorporated elements from the books that were previously left out of the films.
Koepp specifically mentioned integrating a sequence from the first novel that was originally intended for the 1993 movie but was omitted due to time constraints. "There was a sequence from the first novel that we’d always wanted in the original movie, but didn’t have room for," Koepp explained. "We were like, ‘Hey, we get to use that now.’"
While Koepp did not specify which sequence from the novel made it into "Jurassic World Rebirth," his revelation has sparked widespread speculation among fans. Several scenes from the first novel have been identified as potential candidates for inclusion in the new film.
