During Skybound's SDCC 2023 panel, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon officially announced J.K. Simmons will voice Omni-Man, maintaining continuity with the actor's performance in Amazon Prime's Invincible series.

Omni-Man joins the brutal combat arena through Mortal Kombat 1's Official Kombat Pack. While Boon didn't reveal specific gameplay details, he teased upcoming showcase videos building anticipation for Omni-Man's arrival alongside the game's September 19, 2023 launch.
