Zenless Zone Zero is gearing up for the launch of Version 1.5 on January 22, bringing a fresh wave of content with new agents Astra and Evelyn, along with exciting new game modes and optimizations. HoYoverse continues to keep the community engaged with regular updates, introducing new characters and enriching the gameplay experience.

Version 1.4 marked a significant milestone for Zenless Zone Zero, concluding several events and introducing the much-anticipated character Hoshimi Miyabi. As the current version nears its end, HoYoverse has shifted focus to what's coming next, unveiling Version 1.5 through a Special Program livestream.

The highlight of Version 1.5 for many fans is the introduction of two new S-Rank Agents. Astra Yao, an Ether Support character, will be available during the first phase, joining the ranks of the rare Ether-based agents alongside Nicole and Zhu Yuan. Her unique W-Engine, Elegant Vanity, will also be up for grabs. Phase 2, starting on February 12, will introduce Evelyn Chevalier, a Fire Attacker Bodyguard, with her limited-time W-Engine, Heartstring Nocturne.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.5 Launches on January 22

In addition to the new agents, Version 1.5 offers a plethora of new content, including a special story that follows the main narrative concluded in Version 1.4. Players can look forward to the S-Rank Bangboo unit Snap, new check-in events, further game optimizations, and enhancements to existing activities. The next phase of Hollow Zero, dubbed Cleanse Calamity, will be available, and fans can dive into a new Arcade game called Mach 25. New costumes for Ellen, Nicole, and Astra Yao will also be added, providing players with more ways to customize their characters.

A highly requested feature is also making its debut in Version 1.5: banner reruns. Similar to HoYoverse's other titles, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero will reintroduce past S-Rank agents for players to pull for. Ellen Joe and her specific W-Engine will be available during the first phase, followed by Qingyi and her W-Engine in Phase 2. This addition ensures that players who missed out on these characters previously will have another chance to add them to their roster.
