Ubisoft's Six Invitational concluded with the unveiling of Rainbow Six Siege's newest addition: Rauora, an attack operator hailing from New Zealand. A key feature is her DOM launcher, a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorways. While indestructible by bullets, explosives can destroy it. A unique twist is the trigger mechanism; attackers open the shield in one second, while defenders require three, a potentially game-changing difference, especially during defuser plants.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. Players can also equip her with either the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.
Rauora will be playable on the test servers within the coming week, with a wider release on the live servers following shortly after.
