Infinity Nikki offers compensation for the issues encountered in version 1.5's release. Dive deeper into what players can expect as compensation and what developer Infold Games has planned to address these issues.
Infinity Nikki Version 1.5 Updates
Free Diamonds as Compensation
Infold Games released version 1.5 of Infinity Nikki with high expectations, promising significant updates that unfortunately fell short. On May 18, via a post on Twitter (X), Infold Games acknowledged the "unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content," and announced compensation for players.
The update introduced numerous technical issues and bugs across various platforms, making the game unplayable for some. Additionally, sudden system changes increased the cost of 5-star outfits, raising the number of required pieces from 9 or 10 to 11. This change increased the maximum pulls needed for a complete outfit to 220, making it more challenging and costly for players to acquire full sets.
A new dye system was also introduced, which players found cumbersome as it necessitated unlocking color palettes for each clothing item. The Threads of Reunion storyline was removed due to ongoing development of the associated outfit. Infold Games stated, "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion."
In response to player feedback, Infold Games announced, "As compensation for Version 1.5's shortcomings and schedule changes, all stylists will receive 120 Diamonds and 1 Energy Crystal daily from June 5 to June 12, totaling 960 Diamonds and 8 Energy Crystals."
Despite this compensation, the studio has not yet outlined a clear plan to address these issues, leading fans to express their concerns in the comments section about the pity system changes, the dye system's flaws, and other bugs.
Delayed Version 1.6
Due to the problematic release of version 1.5, the developers have extended its duration to allow more time to resolve issues. Consequently, version 1.6's release has been postponed to June 12, 2025, impacting the schedule of in-game events.
The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, originally set for May 20, will now launch with version 1.6. Infold Games explained, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." As compensation for this delay, players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals.
More Unlisted Adjustments On The Way
Infold Games is only beginning to address the myriad of issues introduced with version 1.5. "There are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates," Infold stated.
To improve communication with players, the developers are launching the Miraland Round Table initiative. Players can submit their concerns and feedback directly to the developers by emailing the game’s official email account with "Table Advisor" in the subject line or through the in-game Customer Service option.
Infold Games expressed, "We feel guilt over delayed promises, yet gratitude for your unwavering support." They are committed to making the game "shine brighter than ever."
