Mobile gaming often lacks substantial mech action. Mechwarrior holds a special place in many gamers' hearts, but single-player mech simulators on mobile have been scarce—until now.
Exoloper, initially featured last October, puts you directly in the cockpit of your mech. This isn't a top-down strategy game; it's intense, first-person mech combat. If you've longed for a Mechwarrior experience on mobile, Exoloper might be your answer.
Importantly, Exoloper comes from Anchorite Games, the developers behind the acclaimed space combat simulator, Interloper. Exoloper's release on February 10th is highly anticipated.
A New Contender in a Niche Genre
Mech combat games are a specialized market. While Mechwarrior dominated in the late 90s and early 2000s, only Mechwarrior 5 and Clans (despite some controversy) have truly followed in its footsteps. Therefore, an iOS spiritual successor is a welcome surprise. While not as deeply simulated as Mechwarrior, Exoloper still promises remarkable immersion.
