Hearthstone fans, get ready for an exhilarating update with Battlegrounds Season 10, aptly named "Second Nature," set to launch on April 29th, 2025. This new season promises a fresh start as it coincides with the end of Season 9, with ratings resetting and the Track getting a complete overhaul. Any unclaimed rewards from Season 9 will be automatically collected for you, ensuring you don't miss out on any goodies.
To build anticipation, Blizzard has planned a staggered reveal of the new content. On April 18th, get a sneak peek at Dragons, Demons, and Mechs. Then, on April 21st, Undead and Pirates join the fray, followed by Naga and Quilboar on April 22nd. The reveal schedule concludes with Murlocs and Beasts on April 23rd.
With the launch of Season 10, Anomalies will be completely removed from the Tavern, and turn lengths will be extended, giving players more time to strategize and make their moves. Additionally, Trinkets are making a comeback but with a twist. These passive power-ups, which you can purchase with Gold, will appear twice during a game: as Lesser Trinkets on turn 6 and Greater Trinkets on turn 9. Hearthstone is introducing over 100 new Trinkets and bringing back more than 100 familiar ones, with an increased chance of getting Trinkets that complement your current minion type.
Season 10 also introduces two new heroes to the Battlegrounds roster: Forest Lord Cenarius and Buttons. Cenarius brings the essence of Druid gameplay, accelerating Gold accumulation and setting the stage for impactful late-game strategies.
In addition to the new heroes, the minion pool is receiving a massive refresh, with over 75 new and returning minions and Tavern spells being added. The Battlegrounds Track will also be reset, giving players a fresh start to climb the ranks.
